CSV data import fails without displaying an error message if the maximum line limit for CSV files is exceeded

Troubleshooting


Problem

Importing CSV data source data into IBM Intelligent Operations Center fails if the CSV file contains a line that exceeds the configured maximum line length for CSV files. However, the data import appears to succeed because there is no error notification, the error is displayed in the logs only.

Symptom

After importing data for a data source that is configured to acquire data from a CSV file, the target data source table is not updated as expected.
