Crystal Reports custom SQL (Command Object) is not supported in RAD 7

Troubleshooting


Problem

Using the Crystal Reports designer in IBM® Rational® Application Developer 7, you are unable to edit the custom SQL query in your report that was created in Rational Application Developer 6, or some other version of the Crystal Reports designer.

Symptom

The following message appears in the Problems view as an Informational message:

This report uses command tables.  This feature isn't supported by this Version of the Crystal Reports designer and cannot be edited by the designer.  The command table will remain in the rpt file and can be edited by other Crystal Report designers.
