CRX-UDA-2001 internal error occurs when using IN operator in conditional layout calculation with string values

Troubleshooting

Problem

A conditional report layout calculation, for example:
IF ('a' IN ('a')) THEN ('Y') ELSE ('N')

IF (<my data item> IN ('a')) THEN ('Y') ELSE ('N')

It fails with "RSV-VAL-0002 Invalid expression XXX. CRX-UDA-2001 Internal error." when

Expression is validated
Or report is executed.

Same calculation with numbers or, for example, equal ('=') operator is working.

Symptom

Expression validation returns: "RSV-VAL-0002 Invalid expression XXX. CRX-UDA-2001 Internal error."

Report execution returns error:

CRX-UDA-2001 Internal error.
