Abstract
IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next 7.x changed the underlying data store from Jena to a relational database. As a result, some issues can be encountered during the upgrade and migration process of the database during the upgrade from 6.0.6.x to 7.0.2.
IBM recommends not upgrading until these issues are resolved and installed the relevant interim fixes before running the upgrade.
The use cases encountered are outlined in this document along with recommended considerations or resolutions.

- Customers planning and testing upgrades currently should contact IBM support directly to get fixes for these items before upgrade. These tasks should be part of the customer test and validation plan.
- Customers planning to upgrade in the future can use iFix011, which will include the fixes for these issues as part of the upgrade process

You can keep track of defects and interim fixes by referencing the ELM Maintenance Schedule on jazz.net, and subscribing to individual defects.
IBM recommends that you apply the most recently released interim fix before you upgrade and continue to apply the most recently released interim fixes to ensure that you do not encounter known, fixed issues. The list in the table contains issues that are not yet in an interim fix for awareness and to allow planning for production upgrades.
