Creating Documents from Templates

The ability to create documents from templates is a community-specificoption. Your sponsor determines which documents can be created fromtemplates if any. To create a document:

Procedure

  1. From the Sterling Web Forms menubar select Create Forms

    A listof document templates displays organized by community.

  2. From the list select the community and document you want.

    The template for the new document opens.

    Note: Ifthere is no activity a session on Sterling Web Forms times out afterapproximately 20 minutes. To prevent loss of information when youare creating a document save the document as a draft if you needto stop working for any length of time.
  3. Type all required information. Required fields are indicatedby a red asterisk (*).
  4. Do one of the following:
    • To send the completed document to your business partner select SendThis Form. The document is sent to your business partner.A copy is placed in your Outbox. The SendComplete page opens.
    • To save the document as a draft select Save This FormAs Draft. At the prompt type a name and select OK.The document is saved in your Drafts folder.The Save Complete page opens.
