Troubleshooting
Problem
IBM Connections 4.x introduced items such as Status Updates, Community Events and ECM Files. How can these be crawled using the seedlist crawler of IBM Content Analytics with Enterprise Search (ICAwES) 3.0?
Resolving The Problem
Please note that:
- Community Events, Status Update were introduced in IBM Connections 4.0
- ECM Files was introduced as a part of 4.5
As of ICAwES 3.0 FP2, the crawl of Status Updates, Events (including Community Events), and ECM Files (CCM) is not available. The available features to crawl are
- Activities
- Blogs
- Communities
- Dogear
- Profiles
- Forums
- Wikis
- Files
Therefore Status Updates, Community Events and ECM Files currently cannot be seen as an option in the crawler as it is not part of the design of ICAwES 3.0. This was introduced in ICAwES 3.0 Fixpack 3.
