Troubleshooting
Problem
The users that connect to WAS with Remote Desktop and start/stop WAS with Windows service might see the registry warning message in SystemOut.log after disconnecting the Remote Desktop. This is a known issue of Microsoft Windows 2008.
Symptom
If the users connect to WAS with Remote Desktop and then start/stop WAS with Windows service, they might see the following warning message in SystemOut.log.

[8-12-12 14:20:52:328 EST] 000001a5 prefs W Could not open windows registry node Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\XXXXXXXX at root 0x80000001. Windows RegOpenKey(...) returned error code 1018.
[8-12-12 14:20:53:921 EST] 000001a5 prefs W Could not open windows registry node Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\XXXXXXXX\/U/I\currentscope\/Data/Source.content. main at root 0x80000001. Windows RegOpenKey(...) returned error code 1018.
This problem can also cause the console to run slowly.
