Problem
How to modify an existing/working Controller system (currently configured to use CGI for its reporting system) to use ISAPI.
Symptom
If the instructions/settings are not followed correctly, then there are several possible errors that can be seen.
- These errors can vary depending on server operating system, client operating system and client version of Internet Explorer. For example, when launching Cognos Connection (http://servername/ibmcognos) using a Windows 2008 application server you may see:

In addition, inside "Controller Configuration" when changing the report server to ISAPI, you may receive the following message when click "save"
