How to convert .msc file to .mpr file from command line using SDL Suite?

Answer

Below are the steps to convert the .msc file to .mpr from the command line:

1. Browse to the bin directory of the SDLTTCN suite installation start the postmaster by using the command:



    sdt - noclients

2. Start the required tools from the Postmaster:


    serverpc 1000 start 5000
    serverpc 5000 start 7000



3. For each file, execute:


    serverpc msce mscgrpr mymsc.msc mymsc.mpr mymsc 1

    Where:

    • mymsc.msc is the name of the used msc file
    • mymsc.mpr is the name of the .mpr file that will be generated
    • mymsc is the keyword which is used as the name within the generated .mpr file

The specified .msc file will be converted to .mpr file and will be saved in the working directory.
