Problem
After deploying and starting Maximo or Control Desk into a WebSphere (WAS) clustered environment, WAS is generating persistent and frequent OutOfMemory errors in WebSphere cluster environment, especially on user interface (UI) Java Virtual Machines (JVMs).
Symptom
When an OutOfMemory condition occurs, WebSphere generates multiple heap dump*.phd, javacore*.txt and snap*.trc files in the \profiles directory. WebSphere generates these files even when the OutOfMemory condition does not cause WAS to restart the JVM.
