Contract Import Process

Shippers can use data exchange to import contract informationinto Sterling TMS insteadof manually entering it online.

You can perform the following tasks with Nistevo Standard DelimitedFiles (NSDF):

  • Add contracts
  • Add contract sections
  • Add and update rating lanes
  • Add and update rate breaks
  • Add and update Route Guide Parameters

The data exchange process only supports the initial loading ofcontracts and contract sections as NSDF files. Sterling TMS does not supportthe updating or deleting of existing contract and contract sectionrecords using NSDF files. You must update the contract and sectionlevels of your contracts online in Sterling TMS.
