Content Platform Engine 5.5.12 cannot be configured because the node details are not returned when configuring the Deploy Application task

Troubleshooting


Problem

When trying to configure Content Platform Engine 5.5.12, the Deploy Application task does not run because a jython error occurs when trying to fetch the Node details. This issue occurs only when configuring Content Platform Engine to run on WebSphere 8.5.5 application servers.

Symptom

When using the Configuration Manager user interface

  • An error message displays after clicking on the Application Server node.
  • Cannot complete the Content Platform Engine deployment.
