Connection refused: Invalid authentication

Troubleshooting


Problem

When test the Derby content store connection in Configuration Manager, testing failed

Symptom

From Configuration Manager, the error message is:

[ERROR]Content Manager failed to connect to the content store. The connection string is "jdbc:derby://vsydredhat3:1527/cm"

From the derby.log under /<C8>/logs/, there is error:

Thread[DRDAConnThread_2,5,main] (DATABASE = cm), (DADAID = {3}), Connection refused: Invalid
authentication.
