Problem

Connection issue while connecting to CMC from HMC

Symptom

Cloud Connector (CC) status is inactive and Logstash is unreachable after executing diagcloudconn command.

Resolving The Problem

  1. Run diagcloudconn command on HMC server.
    1. If CC status is inactive after executing diagcloudconn command then please verify the following proxy/firewall settings:
      • Allow HTTPS outbound connection to <portal url>
      • Allow HTTPS outbound connection to <cloudant url>
    2. If Logstash is unreachable after executing diagcloudconn command then please verify the following proxy/firewall settings:
      •  Allow NON HTTPS outbound connection to ip <logstash ip address> and port as "5044
      • Allow tunneling over the 5044 port (disable SSL interception).
  2. After these are done, please restart the Cloud Connector on the HMC and check the connection.
