Problem
Connection issue while connecting to CMC from HMC
Symptom
Cloud Connector (CC) status is inactive and Logstash is unreachable after executing diagcloudconn command.
Resolving The Problem
- Run diagcloudconn command on HMC server.
- If CC status is inactive after executing diagcloudconn command then please verify the following proxy/firewall settings:
- Allow HTTPS outbound connection to <portal url>
- Allow HTTPS outbound connection to <cloudant url>
- If Logstash is unreachable after executing diagcloudconn command then please verify the following proxy/firewall settings:
- Allow NON HTTPS outbound connection to ip <logstash ip address> and port as "5044
- Allow tunneling over the 5044 port (disable SSL interception).
- If CC status is inactive after executing diagcloudconn command then please verify the following proxy/firewall settings:
- After these are done, please restart the Cloud Connector on the HMC and check the connection.
