Connect:Direct for z/OS process shows RC=0000000C with no error message indicated

Troubleshooting


Problem

When initiating a session from Connect:Direct for z/OS to Connect:Direct for Windows, the Process Term statistics record shows Comp Code = 0000000C but Comp Msg is blank. The process may retry later successfully.

Symptom

z/OS statistics show:
Comp Code    => 0000000C
Comp Msg     =>
Windows statistics show:
LSMI013E - Session limits specified in the netmap exceeded
