Quick Start Guide - Connect Direct 4.7.00 Secure+
Secure+ for Connect Direct for Windows has been changed to allow clients more flexibility and standardize the application with other IBM Secure+ Platform Products.
When Launching Connect Direct Windows Secure+ the initial screen has not changed.
Remote Node Records have received considerable alterations.
An Example is:
This Node is already configured with SSL 3.0 and FIPS 140-2 Enabled.
Security Options Tab
- Secure+ now has Secure+ Protocol Options and Security Modes which you may use to configure and enable those features.

NOTE: The Secure+ Protocol, Security Modes "have" to match your Trading Partners settings.
Certificates created are stored with IBM iKEYMAN that is integrated to the Secure+ Environment.
You may also use Certificate Wizard and import certificates directly to the Secure+ environment using the Secure+ Admin Tool. (See the Quick Start Guide of Importing Key Certificate File created with Certificate Wizard)
TLS/SSL Options Tab
This tab displays a Key Certificate Label field.
Using the "Select" button allows you to navigate to the certificate you want to use.
The Key Certificate Label is the "name" of a certificate stored in the KEYSTORE.
These certificates were stored using iKEYMAN, or alternatively, maybe directly stored into the Secure+ environment if you used Certificate Wizard.
Select the Cipher that matches your trading partner.
NOTE: Your Cipher(s) has to 'match' your Trading Partners settings.
Select 'OK' and changes completed for a secure Secure+ Transfer.
