Configuring IBM Security Verify Push Notifications

How To

Summary

IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA), formerly known as IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM), offers Mobile Multi-Factor Authentication (MMFA) capabilities such as Biometric and Push Notification authentication through the IBM Security Verify mobile application. MMFA can also be used with an application developed using the IBM Security Verify software development kit (SDK). To leverage Push Notification messages in ISVA/ISAM MMFA, one or multiple Push Notification Providers must be configured.

There are upcoming changes required for deployments that use the 'Push for IBM Verify' provider to send push notifications to the IBM Security Verify app. This technical document outlines the required configuration changes to ensure continuity of service, stability and reliability of push notifications using IBM Security Verify.
