Configure synchronization with IIS using the OMRS Connector

How To

Summary

NOTE: This functionality is deprecated and will be removed from the product in the first half of 2024

The IIS OMRS Connector is a stand-alone Java application with an open metadata ecosystem compliant web server that can communicate and synchronize metadata assets between an IIS/IGC system and other open metadata-compliant systems. In the 11.7.0.2 release of IBM Information Server, it is being released as a pair of microservices distributed as part of the unified governance stack. These microservices are Docker images managed as part of a Kubernetes cluster along with the rest of the unified governance microservices intended to be tied to a specific Information Server instance. This document is intended to describe the postinstallation process for configuring the IIS OMRS services.
