If you already have component queues from an earlier version of Component Manager, you can continue to use the component queues with that version of Component Manager or update the component queues to the current version of Component Manager on Content Platform Engine.
You must complete one of the options described in the following table, depending on the version of IBM Enterprise Records and Content Engine or Content Platform Engine you are running. Briefly, you must complete tasks in your IBM Enterprise Records Configuration Manager, Object Store Configuration profile, or work in your Process Configuration Console and Component Manager. Depending on the state of your system, you must reconfigure a process region and IBM Enterprise Records component queues to be used with an earlier version of Component Manager or the current version of Component Manager. To reconfigure the process region and restart Component Manager, complete the appropriate configuration procedure by using the following table.
An earlier version of Component Manager is supported by Content Engine V5.1 and Content Platform Engine V5.2.0. The current version of Component Manager is only supported by Content Platform Engine V5.2.0 and later.
| Option | Description |
If you are using the following combination:
- An existing, earlier Component Manager
- With Content Engine V5.1 or Content Platform Engine V5.2.0, and
- IBM Enterprise Records V5.1.2
|
- Set the minimum and maximum heap size for Destroy Disposition Sweeps.
- Run the Process Configuration Console to import the IBM Enterprise Records workflow configuration file, set the base URL address of the IBM Enterprise Records web application and verify the assignment of groups to work queues.
- Commit the work queue updates.
- Close the Process Configuration Console and restart Component Manager to implement the changes you made.
