The Configure Host Server (CFGHOSTSVR) command is used to individually enable, disable, or allow loopback-only for non-secure connections on the supported host servers. The supported servers are Central, Database, Data Queue, File, Network Print, Remote Command, and Signon.
Configure the type of connections allowed for each host server (CNNTYPE). The following types are available:
*SECURE - Only TLS/Secure connections allowed, the insecure listener port is not started.
*SECLOOP - TLS/Secure connections and insecure loopback connections allowed. The insecure port is not listening on the external interfaces but available over loopback.
*ALL – All insecure and secure connections allowed with both listening ports started.

The Configure Host Server (CFGHOSTSVR) command is also used to individually enable or disable the insecure port on the virtual print, transfer, and network drive servers. This set of servers only support insecure connections making the server unavailable.
Configure if the server should listen for connections (LISTEN) with simple yes or no.
*YES - host server daemon jobs will listen for connections
*NO - host server daemon jobs will not listen for connections

See the CFGHOSTSVR command description in IBM Documentation for more information.
