Abstract
This package contains an update to the device driver for the Conexant HCF V90 56K PCI modem that comes preinstalled in your IBM computer. This update requires approximately 2MB of space on your hard disk (drive C).

Downloading the update
- Click the file link to download the file from the Web page.
- When prompted, select a drive and directory in which to save the downloaded file.
Installing the update
- Click Start, select Search, then click All files and folders.
- Type qq9z01us.exe in the search field, then click Search. This will locate the qq9z01us.exe file you just downloaded.
- Double-click the icon for qq9z01us.exe.
- Click Next. Read the license agreement.
- Click I accept the terms in the license agreement.
- Click Next.
- Ensure that "Save files in folder" is set to C:\IBMTOOLS\DRIVERS\QQ9Z01US.
- Click Next. The setup program will run.
- Follow all onscreen prompts and reboot when done.
