Troubleshooting
Problem
When adding Conditional UI to a Table Column control in the Add Items to Inventory dialog of Item Master Application, the conditional UI is ignored and normal behaviour is observed for all users
Symptom
1) Go To Conditional Expression Manager
2) Click New Row
Condition = SITEID
Type = Expression
Expression = :siteid='BEDFORD'
3) Save Condition
4) Go To System Administration -> Platform Configuration ->
Application Designer
5) Select the ITEM application
6) Select Action -> Add/Modify Signature Options
7) Click New Row
Option = C_BINNUM
Description = C_BINNUM
8) OK
9) Click on Edit Dialogs
10) Select additemstostoreroom
11) Right Click on Default Bin in the table heading
12) Click on Advanced
Signature Option: C_BINNUM
13 ) Configure Conditional Properties
Add MAXADMIN to Security Groups
Add SITEID to Conditions for Security Group MAXADMIN
Property Values for Condition
Condition is true
Property = label
value = test
14) Click OK
15) Save the Application Definition
16) Go To -> Security Groups
17) Filter for and select MAXADMIN
18) Click on Applications
19) Filter for Item Master
20) Tick the Check Box for C_BINNUM in Options for Item Master
21) Save Group
22) Log off
23) Log on as maxadmin
24) Go To Inventory -> Item Master
25) Select any item
26) Select Action -> Add Items to Storeroom
27) Site = Bedford
Storeroom = <select any available storeroom>
28) OK
-> The label for Default Bin is still Default Bin
28) Click View Details
29) This is also the case if Sig Option Data Source ID is set to MAINRECORD on the table column properties in Application Designer
