The compute host LIM process is started but there is no pem process

Troubleshooting

Problem

LIM does not start a PEM process when there is a firewall between management and compute hosts. The host stays in the "unavailable" state.

Symptom

There is a firewall between compute host and management host. All EGO daemons TCP ports (7869, 7870, 7871) are opened bi-directionally.

The compute host and then Symphony is started. After several minutes, the 'egosh resource list' command on the management host shows the compute host's status as "unavailable". However, the host status never changes to "ok".

The process tree shows only LIM is spawned. The remaining EGO processes such as, PEM, MELIM, ELIM do not exist.
