Abstract

Beginning with Watson Explorer Advanced Edition Version 11.0.0.1, you can run a command to completely erase all data in a Watson Explorer Content Analytics collection.

Content

To erase all collection data, log in as the Content Analytics administrator and run the following command, where collection_ID is the ID of the collection that you want to erase:

esadmin configmanager wipeCollectionData -cid collection_ID

This command:

  • Stops all associated sessions
  • Removes all raw data store (RDS) and index files
  • Removes the collection's query and import history from the database
  • Removes all Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) files from the collection, if HDFS was enabled
