Compiling a stubbed function having @far @gpage in its prototype fails with an error about redeclared function

Troubleshooting

Problem

Attempts to compile a stubbed function that has type modifier “@far @gpage” in its prototype fails with an error about the redeclared function while performing component test for C using IBM Rational Test RealTime.

Symptom

An example of function prototype with the type modifier "@far @gpage" is shown as below.

extern void Function1(@far @gpage const Str_t *test_Ptr);

When this function is stubbed in the test script PTU file generated by Test RealTime wizard, compiling the stubbed function fails with the following error message.

#error <compiler> <TDP_folder_name>/TTest.c:91(14) redeclared external Funtion1
