"Communication link failure" errors when load on the SQL Server is high (consolidation and/or datamart publish) caused by Microsoft Scalable Networking Pack 'TCP Chimney' feature

Troubleshooting


Problem

User performs a complex task in Controller, for example publishes data to a data mart. The job/task may work OK for some time (for example 60 minutes). However, eventually the tasks aborts / finishes unsuccessfully. There is an error message recorded insdie the Event Viewer application log inside the Controller application server.
