Command line Adapter 2 (CLA2) fails with error "Authentication was enabled but the signature could not be verified"

Troubleshooting


Problem

The system certificates used in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator(SBI) CLA2 adapter have been expired. After updating new certificates, the CLA2 adapter is failing with error "Authentication was enabled but the signature could not be verified" after changing the system certificates

Symptom

Cla2server.log indicates the following:

The socket name is already in use.
java.net.BindException: The socket name is already in use.
at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketBind(Native Method)
at java.net.AbstractPlainSocketImpl.bind(AbstractPlainSocketImpl.java:407)
at java.net.ServerSocket.bind(ServerSocket.java:444)

cla2client log shows the below error:
