Troubleshooting
Problem
Planning 8.4 users of the JAVA (Rich) client see the on-screen error: 'COM object method returns error code: 0x80004005; E_FAIL (Unspecified error)' when saving data in a complex model with large numbers of calculations. This is particularly likely to occur if the user has entered data in a sub-total cell, that will trigger 'break-back'.
