Troubleshooting
Problem
Collocation handling for nodes, which are not member of a collocation group.
Resolving The Problem
To determine if a Tivoli Storage Manager client node is defined in a collocation group, issue a query node f=d.
If the collocation group name field is empty, it is not defined in a collocation group.
Collocation processing depends on the collocation setting of the storagepool:
storage pool collocation attribute | node is NOT member of a collocation group | node is member of a collocation group |
NO | no collocation | no collocation |
GROUP | collocation by node | collocation by group of nodes |
NODE (or YES) | collocation by node | collocation by node |
FILESPACE | collocation by filespace | collocation by filespace |
