Collecting Data - Maximo Logs for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Modules
For all Maximo Receiving related issues, these questions help you troubleshoot the issue. If you’re still facing the problem, provide these questions and answers to IBM Maximo Support.
- Is this issue happening with all Receiving records or just this one?
- Is this issue happening in more than one environment?
- Does this issue occur to some users or does it occur to all users?
- Is this issue happening with users in different Security Groups?
- Was it working correctly and now it is not? If so, to the best of your knowledge, what was changed in the environment (i.e IFIX, LAFix, configuration changes, etc)?
- Do you have customizations (added/modified Java classes) in the Invoices application? If yes, please provide the details.
- Do you have automation scripts? If so, does the issue occur if the automation scripts are disabled?
NOTE: We recommend clients to be at the latest FixPack or IFIX level for the Maximo versions they use; the more up-to-date you are with its version, the more efficiently your system will work. Upgrading your Maximo system to the latest FixPack or IFIX, will help to avoid many issues that you might be experiencing as well as other issues you have not yet encountered.
