Cognos Analytics Dashboards automatically adjusting the dashboard for any screen size

Summary

Currently in Cognos Analytics there are following dashboard formatting options option available to format dashboard page to adjust to device and\or web browser screen size:

Setting up the page in a dashboard

Referenced Cognos documentation link "Setting up the page in a dashboard" reads following:

"If you choose absolute layout positioning, the objects retain their size and position, regardless of the screen size of the device that they are being viewed in.
For small screen sizes, absolute positioning can increase the need for scrolling because objects are larger than the screen.
Absolute positioning results in one large area that is not divided into sections.
Choose absolute if you want visualizations to appear exactly as you size and place them, regardless of the screen size of the device that they are viewed in. "

And:

"If you choose relative layout positioning, the objects adjust their size and position, relative to each other, the data they show, and the screen size of the device that they are viewed in.
Select relative layout positioning if you want the size and position of visualizations to adjust to fit into the screen size of the device that they are viewed in.
The appearance of the dashboard can change depending on the size of the screen that it is viewed in. "

Above described functionality is due to the practicality for reading the dashboard on client side, for example if in one dashboard page there are visualizations which can be practical to read on large screen size, when dashboard is opened on smaller screen all of the visualization segments and text in dashboard visualizations including labels only become visible after view percentage in web browser is adjusted by end user to the value which can accommodate such dashboard design.
