Problem

The Command Line Interface (CLI) on the Chassis Management Module (CMM) does not show the certificate authority (CA) status when issuing the CLI command: sslcfg -T mm[x] where 'x' is the primary Management Module slot.

Symptom

The Command Line Interface (CLI) on the Chassis Management Module (CMM) does not show the certificate authority (CA) status when issuing the CLI command:

  sslcfg -T mm[x]

where 'x' is the primary Management Module slot.

Affected configurations

The system is configured with one or more of the following IBM Options:

  • Flex System Chassis Management Module, Option part number 68Y7029, any replacement part number (CRU)

This tip is not system specific.

This tip is not software specific.

The 2PETO13 firmware for the CMM is affected.

Solution

This will be fixed in future CMM firmware targeted for fourth quarter 2012.

Use the CMM web interface, which correctly shows the CA status.
