Problem
The cluster IP address is already in use. error seen during configuration
Diagnosing The Problem
The cluster configuration wizard may fail during the db2mscs command. The following is seen in the dsmicfgx.trc file.

error: "The cluster IP address is already in use.
Resolving The Problem
In order for the Tivoli Storage Manager Server to be configured in a cluster environment, there are several IPs that are needed. You will need a minimum of 4 IP addresses.
- One for the physical node
- One for the secondary node
- One for the cluster itself
- One for the Tivoli Storage Manager Server for client communication.
It is the last one that you will enter into the cluster configuration wizard for the server IP address. entering any of the other IP addresses may cause the error stating that the IP is already in use.
