Closing 'Data Entry-Reported Values' screen causes all Excel sheets are closed (or the user is prompted to save changes in Excel)

Troubleshooting

Problem

User launches Excel. User types a figure into a cell. User saves this file (for example as 'test.xlsx'). User then launches Controller (with Excel still open in the background). User clicks 'Company - Data Entry - Reported Values'. The selection screen appears (where the user can choose form/company/period etc.). User clicks the 'Close' button (of the selection window). Immediately Excel closes, so therefore 'test.xlsx' is no longer visible. If the user repeats the above, but does *not* save the Excel file first, then (immediately after closing the 'Data Entry - Reported Values' screen) the user is prompted (inside Excel) to save the file (for example as 'book1.xlsx').

Symptom

Excel immediately closes when the window 'Data Entry - Reported Values' is closed.

Example #1 - Spreadsheet contents have already been saved to disk

In this scenario, the spreadsheet is 'saved' (as 'text.xlsx'):

If the user clicks the 'close' button (or 'X') then Excel will disappear immediately (without warning). However, no data is lost because the spreadsheet is already saved.

Example #2 - Spreadsheet contents have NOT been saved to disk

In this scenario, the spreadsheet is a new one (or changes have been made to a 'saved' one):

If the user clicks 'close' then they are prompted to save changes (see above).
