ClearQuest Web WAS Service errors upon stop/restart

Troubleshooting


Problem

This technote provides steps for troubleshooting IBM® Rational® ClearQuest® Web Service errors when stopping or restarting the service.

Symptom

ClearQuest Web Websphere Application Server V6 - RWP Servlet Service Errors


WAS Server Logs:
Every application server process gets several log files:
<profile>/logs/<server_name>/SystemOut.log
<profile>/logs/<server_name>/ SystemErr.log
<profile>/logs/<server_name>/startServer.log
<profile>/logs/<server_name>/stopServer.log
Where <profile> is
<embexpress_install>/profiles/profile1 (Unix and Windows – CQ Web; Windows only- PjC) On Windows we also install profile2 (for ReqWeb).
<server_name> is server1 for RWP configuration.
