Problem

Older versions of ServeRAID-M Installation and User's Guides contain instructions in the section "Transferring Cached Data from a Failed Controller" that do not apply to the ServeRAID controllers listed below. ServeRAID M5014 SAS/SATA Controller,Option 46M0916 ServeRAID M5015 SAS/SATA Controller, Option 46M0829 ServeRAID M5025 SAS/SATA Controller, Option 46M0830 ServeRAID-MR10M SAS/SATA Controller, Option 43W4339 ServeRAID-MR10i SAS/SATA Controller, Option 43W4296 ServeRAID-MR10is Vault SAS/SATA Controller, Option 44E8695 ServeRAID-MR10k SAS/SATA Controller, Option 43W4280 If one of these controllers is defective and needs to be replaced, there is no way to transfer any cache data to the replacement controller.
