Troubleshooting
Problem
This document has been written to provide exact steps to install the IBM Cognos Framework (cognosrcp.msi) and the IBM Cognos Contributor client (contributor.msi) on a citrix or terminal server machine. The method described below performs the install into the ALLUSERS directory, which will prevent each end user from installing these pieces into their profile directory (default method when opening a contributor e-list / node item for the first time) and will save on disk space.
Symptom
Slow performance, and the CognosRCP directory exists in the user's roaming profile.
