Question
I am unable to change labor hours in Work Order Tracking. Is there any way to do this?
Cause
In Organizations, Select Action menu, Labor Options the following options may be checked.
-Automatically Approve Inside Labor Transactions
-Automatically Approve Outside Labor Transactions
Answer
Yes, in the Organization application > Select Action > Labor Options there a flags to set Approval of Labor for inside and outside labor. If these flags are checked, the rows will auto approve on the save and the rows are made Read Only. If they are unchecked, they can be edited even after save. Adding a New Row, the Approved flag will not set.
Be aware, if you uncheck the options, the costs will not appear in the View Costs dialog as it is not yet approved. You will need to approve Labor in the Labor Reporting application.
