What needs to be updated when the itmuser's password is changed?
Answer
The ITMUSER account on Windows is just a Windows user account. The password for this user can be changed at any time. If the password for this user is changed, the following configuration will need to be updated, otherwise the Historical data functions will no longer work correctly.
1) First, the reporting and monitoring install should be exclusive to Tivoli Storage Manager and no other application is using the WAREHOUS DB.
2) Update the ITMUSER password in Windows User manager.
3) Open Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Service (the services window) and right click the following services and select reconfigure.

Follow the screens in order to retype the ITMUSER password.
4. Reconfigure Tivoli Common Reporting Data Source to type the new ITMUSER password.
