Changing the Default Drive for Macro Support in PC5250

Troubleshooting

Problem

This document explains how to change Access for Windows PC5250 to look to a different location for a macro.

Resolving The Problem

To change the Access for Windows macro default drive to a different location with Access for Windows V5R4M0 or later, do the following:

1.

Open the PC5250 session that needs to access macros from other than the default location.
2.

3.
From the Menu Bar, select Edit > Preferences > Macro/Script.

Type the desired directory in the Macro/Script Directory field or browse for it.

Sessions brought up after this change is made will be defaulting to the new location. Sessions brought up prior to the change will still default to the previous location.
