General Page
The Safari browser on iPad iOS 13 requests desktop websites by default. This departure from previous default behavior means that the desktop version of TM1 Web opens on iPad iOS 13.
In the desktop version of TM1 Web, touch or tap events are treated as mouse clicks and long-press events are not enabled, resulting in the following issues in TM1 Web on iPad iOS 13:
- Long-press does not open the right-click menu in TM1 Web cube views or websheets.
- Cell editing does not open the keyboard. You must double-click and then click again to bring up the keyboard to enter data.
To work around these issues, turn off the option to request desktop websites in Safari:
- On iPad, tap Settings > Safari.
- In the Settings for Websites category, tap Request Desktop Website.
- Disable the All Websites option.
When this option is disabled, you can continue to use TM1 Web in mobile mode with expected long-press and cell editing behavior.
