IGI version 5.2.6.4, IGI version 5.2.4.3, and ISVG version 10.0.0.4 deliver enhanced encryption and improved security for the passwords used in the administrator realm and user realm. These updates are specific to the administrator IDs defined in the out-of-the-box product and do not affect any administrator IDs that were newly created by the customers after installing and configuring the product.
For these updates to take effect, when you perform any of the above-listed upgrades, the passwords for the administrator IDs (namely “admin” and “sysadmin”) are reset to the original default passwords. Hence, when you log in for the first time after the upgrade, you must use the default passwords for these administrator IDs. The default passwords are shared with the customers through a separate channel.
Tip: After logging in using the default password, it is recommended that the administrators change their passwords.
