Problem
This technote explains how to resolve an error, Unable to login to the specified server, that can occur when using IBM Rational ClearCase Remote Client (CCRC) and attempting to login to a Unix host.
Symptom
A user with valid mapped account from Microsoft Windows to Unix starts having log in problems and errors are reported:
Unable to login to the specified server
