Can't open perl script <path to script>: Permission Denied in TestManager

Troubleshooting

Problem

Can't open perl script : Permission Denied in TestManager

Resolving The Problem

SYMPTOM:

When executing a perl script in TestManager, the following error occurs:

Can't open perl script <path to script>: Permission Denied.

CAUSE:

The command specified in the Execution Adapter Type of the Test Script Type has incorrectly been modified to point to an actual path.

RESOLUTION:

The correct Execution command line should be exactly:
perl {testscriptpath}

The variable must be '{testscriptpath}' without the quotes, not an actual path.
