Microsoft Internet Explorer Web browser (Version 7 or 8) is used to login to the Integrated Management Module (IMM) Web Interface:
IMM Management -> Security -> LDAP Client
Click Import a Trusted Certificate and add a certificate file. After adding a certificate file, there should be an option to replace the certificate file, but the option is not present on the Web interface.

5455, any model
- System x3250 M5, Type 5458, any model
- System x3500 M4, type 7383, any model
- System x3550 M4, type 7914, any model
- System x3650 M4 HD, Type 5460, any
model
- System x3650 M4, type 7915, any model
- iDataPlex dx360 M4 server, type 7912, any
model

The following system firmware level is affected:
Integrated Management Module II (IMM2) 48H
The system has the symptom described above.
Solution
This behavior will be corrected in a future release of IMM
firmware.
For all platforms except IBM System x NeXtScale nx360 M4 and IBM
System x3250 M5, the target date for this release is fourth quarter
2013.
For IBM System x NeXtScale nx360 M4, the target date for this
release is second quarter 2014.
For platform IBM System x3250 M5, the target date for this
release is second quarter 2014.
The file will be available by selecting the appropriate Product
Group, type of System, Product name, Product machine type, and
operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the
following URL:
http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral
Workaround
Use Mozilla Firefox or another browser to replace the
certificate file, by completing these steps:
- Remove the original certificate.
From the Integrated Management Module (IMM) Web Interface,
select:
IMM Management -> Security -> LDAP Client ->
Trusted certificates [Remove]
- Add a new trusted certificate.
From the Integrated Management Module (IMM) Web Interface,
select
IMM Management -> Security -> LDAP Client ->
Import a trusted certificate
