'Cannot open user default database. Login failed.' during ODBC DSN Setup
Error 4064, Cannot open user default database. Login failed.
The User's default database has been deleted or renamed, or the user has not been granted at least the public role on the database.
Resolving The Problem
Contact the SQL Server DBA to check that the database exists, and that the user has at least the public role in the database.
If the problem persists, it might be necessary to contact Microsoft Support for assistance.
