When users using Internet Explorer 8 under Windows 7, log into the Integrated Management Module (IMM) Web Graphical User Interface (GUI) and select:
System status --> Remote Control
Select 'Use the ActiveX Client' to start remote control in single-user or multi-user mode. When the remote control session is opened, choose:
Tools --> Launch Virtual Media
The virtual media fails to launch.

Integrated Management Module (IMM) 48F
The system has the symptom described above.
Solution
This behavior will be corrected in a future release of IMM.
The target date for this release is scheduled for second quarter
2014.

and Operating system on IBM Support's Fix Central web page, at the

Workaround
Instead of using Use the ActiveX Client, use
another option Use the Java Client.
