Problem
When the path of an IBM Integration Designer workspace contains a space, exceptions can be found in the Problems view and in the log file when adding an external service.
Symptom
The following exceptions can be found in the Problems view and in the log file:
CWSCA8055E: An error occurred while generating the following artifact: WrappedException: MetadataException: Could not load the databinding generator, invalid generator specified on the dataBindingType
CWSCA8057E: An error occurred while the data binding was being generated: Could not load the databinding generator, invalid generator specified on the dataBindingType
Resolving The Problem
You should create a new workspace with no spaces. This will resolve the issue and the new project can then be created and built successfully.
