Cannot Connect to Guardium Data Encryption Expert Management Console

Troubleshooting


Problem

The Guardium Data Encryption Expert ("GDEE", "GDE" or Guardium "DEE") product features a web-based Management Console User Interface ("UI"). This browser-based interface is sensitive to product installation and configuration issues as well as network-related issues.

Symptom

Management Console web page is not displayed in browser. Error messages include:

The connection has timed out
