Cannot click on menu items (mouse does not work, therefore stuck at the 'Select database' screen) when using Citrix to deploy Controller, triggered by using multiple monitors (and using display scaling (not using 100% scaling)

Problem

Customer is deploying Controller via Citrix. User authenticates to the Citrix website, and clicks on the Citrix icon to launch the Controller published application.

The Controller client appears, and starts its initial launch sequence. However, the user finds that they cannot click on any of the buttons (menu items) therefore they get 'stuck'.

Problem only affects some users.

Symptom

User cannot click on any of the options displayed on the Controller client, therefore gets stuck at the 'Select database' screen here:
